About

Alexis (Lex) Lawton, a sacred feminine space holder and energy guide, is the founder of A Goddess Mama. She began to lean into her spiritual work in a more meaningful way over 5 years ago after hosting her first (official) goddess circle gathering with a group of women friends.

Her work is greatly influenced by the feminine essence, which is the energy of intuitive wisdom, unconditional love, emotional intelligence, unity/goddess consciousness, creative expression, connection to nature, and receptivity--it is the pure energy of love that comes from the heart and is expressed through the body.

Alexis lives in Westport, CT with her husband and three children.

“…a goddess mama is a sacred feminine approach to joy, healing, connection and celebration.”

Mission

Alexis is passionate about bringing people together and creating space that holds a vibration of healing, compassion and activation.

Through ancient, deeply feminine circle gatherings, she hopes to teach others that the power they have is not outside of themselves, but rather it comes from a place within.

She wants people to respect their visions, understand and remember their magic and commit to their light. She believes the Dali Lama was correct in saying, “all beliefs begin in the heart.”

Practice

For Alexis, every day is an adventure, and her daily life is full of practice. In a more traditional sense, she aims to find space at least once per day to journal/write, meditate, or move her body through dance, yoga/stretching or a walk outside.

She gives herself grace and flexibility with her practice as staying on a “routine” is challenging with her young family.

She has found a natural guide and rhythm by following the monthly cycle and rhythm of the moon as well as the seasonal energy changes outside that influences her work and her life.

Inspiration

Alexis is inspired by the natural world all around us, by all sorts of music, various styles of dance, and a multitude of artists (she believes we are all artists) whose creative expression she connects with personally from her heart and body.

She is energized by all the beautiful people, places and things she has had the great honor of connecting with. Above all, she is most inspired by her three children who she refers to as her “greatest gurus.”
