Our Teaching Program Stands Out by Embracing the Art of Personalization

Pause + Purpose is redefining the journey of mindfulness with our unique Embodied Meditation Teacher Training program. As its founder, I am proud to lead a revolution in mindfulness practice, deeply grounded in the art of personalization.

Our serene studio in Westport is the birthplace of this transformative 20-week course. Unlike conventional meditation programs we’ve found that often adopt a one-size-fits-all approach, Pause + Purpose recognizes the deeply personal nature of mindfulness. Our curriculum is not a checklist; it's a journey into self-discovery and personal transformation.

We believe in the uniqueness of each individual's path to mindfulness. Our program is meticulously crafted to cater to diverse experiences and backgrounds, blending theoretical knowledge with practical application. The journey begins with acknowledging that the path to mindfulness cannot be one-size-f. It’s influenced by each person's life story, challenges, and aspirations.

Our training goes beyond traditional methods, embracing a hands-on approach that includes on-demand lessons and live group sessions. These are not just classes but workshops of discovery, where students explore various facets of mindfulness, from somatic movement to sound baths, under the guidance of experienced practitioners. The heart of our program lies in its trauma sensitivity, acknowledging that many seek mindfulness for healing. We train our teachers to create safe, nurturing spaces, ensuring meditation is accessible and beneficial to all.

The transformative experience culminates in a two-day in-person retreat in our Westport studio. Here, students and mentors immerse themselves in the practice, sharing experiences and learning from one another in a lush, serene setting. This retreat is more than a gathering; it's an immersion into the essence of mindfulness, a time for deep connection and reflection.

It's not just about learning meditation techniques; it's about understanding how to adapt these practices to meet the unique needs of each student. Our graduates will emerge not just as teachers but as mentors, equipped with the knowledge, skills, and sensitivity to navigate the diverse landscape of human experience.

As the founder of Pause + Purpose, my vision was to create a program that nurtures guides who understand the depth and diversity of the human experience, who can bring the gift of mindfulness to all. In our Westport studio, we're not just teaching meditation; we're fostering a new generation of mindfulness ambassadors, one mindful step at a time.

We invite you to join us at Pause + Purpose to embark on this transformative journey, to explore the depths of mindfulness, and to help others discover their path to peace and purpose. Join us this September, 2024!
